Comedic Covers[edit]

Some mention should be made of their laughable covers which include comedic and highly absurd POV statements such as "The Best shortstop in New York tells us..." with Jose Reyes on the cover and the statement that the Ravens had "a ticket to the Super Bowl" because they had Adalius Thomas (well maybe we should just cancel the AFC Playoffs then) in this article. It seems like they try to top themselves each month with a more ridiculous statement on their cover. I think next month their cover is going to be "Tim Duncan-Why is he still starting?". Size[edit]

Shouldn't there be a mention in the article about the ABSURD size of the magazine. I mean, even if you are on crack and like its texas sized pages, its noteworthy for the article. God I hate how big it is.

ESPN is willing to provide all necessary research for the project, including information on its inception, milestone moments, etc. etc. and will assist the wikipedian in getting other information they are interested in (i.e. why the big pages???).

I sent mail to James Weber, indicating that we could provide review of any improvements to the article, if he could put together a proposed version. Since gathering independent sources is hard work, it is reasonable that the initiative (and the research) should come from the company. EdJohnston (talk) 00:22, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mina Kimes[edit]

Mina Kimes was not hired as an investigative journalist for the magazine, but as a columnist. The assertion that she is on the staff to write investigative pieces is incorrect and has been removed. And Adoil Descended (talk) 14:44, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
