Bolsa Vinerian - Vinerian Scholarship
A Bolsa Vinerian é uma bolsa concedida ao aluno da Universidade de Oxford que “ obtiver o melhor desempenho no exame para o grau de Bacharel em Direito Civil ”. Atualmente, £ 2.500 são dados ao vencedor da bolsa, com £ 950 adicionais concedidos a critério dos examinadores para um acesso proxime (vice-campeão).
A Vinerian Scholarship é a bolsa de estudos de direito de maior prestígio concedida pela Universidade de Oxford. Os vencedores de prêmios anteriores se destacaram no judiciário, na prática jurídica, na academia, no serviço público e em outros campos. A lista de estudiosos inclui quatro Law Lords ( Lord Uthwatt , Lord Hoffmann , Lord Edmund-Davies e Lord Saville ) e juízes das mais altas cortes da Austrália ( Dyson Heydon e Patrick Keane ), Canadá ( Ronald Martland ) e África do Sul ( Edwin Cameron ).
