Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Umaru Musa Yar'Adua into First inauguration of Goodluck Jonathan. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 21:51, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

On the article Christopher Gwabin Musa[edit]

Hello, AbdulOlu. I moved the page "Christopher Musa" to "Christopher Gwabin Musa" earlier today and then I saw you moved it back to the way it was. Please, can I know what the problem is? Are you aware I created the article? Even though it is not "my article", but for being the creator you should honour the fact that I named it the way it was before you saw it to edit. This is an appeal. Please leave it as it is. I don't think there is a naming convention on Wikipedia that makes it compulsory for names to be two instead of three. Edits about Vice Presidents of South Africa[edit]

Hi, I saw that you have undone my edits about Vice presidents of South Africa with the reason they weren't necessary. If you look at the page of Richard Nixon, who changed VPs during his tenure, it's done exactly as I did about Rampahosa, Zuma, Mbeki, and Mandela. Please leave it as it is, my changes added more context and made users better understand the length of tenure of VPs, so they were necessary at all. Lateef Fagbemi[edit]

I noticed your edits on Lateef Fagbemi. While there were error in the DOB in the infobox other changes made were definitely not needed. The source I cited listed University of Jos and one other University as his place of institution. Please, read Wikipedia's policy about living people to know more about biographies. I will revert your edit now and make the correction needed on the DOB in the infobox that is in line with the source. Fill free to make additional changes with sources. Thanks for your contributions to Deputy Governor of Adamawa State. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 02:15, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
